Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp attack on Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, accusing his administration of welcoming Bangladeshi infiltrators and leading a corrupt government. Speaking at a rally in Jharia, Dhanbad, Shah vowed that a BJP government would swiftly remove these infiltrators, reversing Soren’s policies.
Calling the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress-Rashtriya Janata Dal coalition “corrupt,” Shah alleged that ministers from this alliance looted Jharkhand, with seized amounts reportedly reaching Rs 350 crore from an MP and Rs 35 crore from a Congress minister. He claimed that the stolen funds belonged to the youth of Jharia and Dhanbad, whose opportunities have been taken away by corruption. Shah pledged justice if BJP gains power, vowing severe punishment for those responsible.
Shah criticized the coalition for alleged scams in MNREGA, land, coal, and liquor, while claiming that Central funds were misused under Soren’s leadership. Outlining BJP’s plans, he promised Rs 25,000 yearly for women, Rs 500 gas cylinders, Rs 2,000 monthly unemployment aid, one lakh jobs per year, and transparent recruitment for 2.87 lakh vacancies. He also pledged new medical colleges, fair paddy pricing for farmers, and reduced property registration costs.
Shah highlighted the BJP’s achievements, from the Ram Temple construction to the removal of Article 370. Encouraging voters to participate on November 20, Shah urged them to vote strongly to end what he called “misrule” and restore progress to Jharkhand.
