Must read

Filming for Toxic is set to resume in Mumbai, where lead actor Yash and the crew will be stationed at the film city. Directed by Geetu Mohandas under the KVN Productions banner, a substantial part of the film will be shot here, including a 45-day schedule packed with action and song sequences. Recently, Toxic gained a major addition: Hollywood action director JJ Perry, known for his work on John Wick, Fast & Furious, and Day Shift, has joined the team to direct the film’s high-energy action scenes. Perry, now in Mumbai, has already begun working on the project.

Expressing his excitement, Perry said, I’m thrilled to be here in India, working with Yash on Toxic. Yash is a fantastic actor and a skilled action performer, and I’m honored to call him a friend. He added that he looks forward to collaborating with director Geetu Mohandas, aiming to bring something unique to the screen.

Toxic also features stars like Nayanthara and Huma Qureshi, who were recently filming in Bengaluru, along with British actors Darrel D’Silva and Benedict Garrett. Although Yash’s role is confirmed, the full cast announcement is still pending. Rajeev Ravi is handling cinematography, and the film is being shot in multiple languages, with more crew details yet to be unveiled.
