Thiruvananthapuram

A heated dispute erupted between two Kerala IAS officers, Additional Chief Secretary A. Jayathilak and Special Secretary Agriculture N. Prasanth, over allegations of misuse of power. Jayathilak accused Prasanth of bypassing official protocol by submitting files directly to the Chief Minister’s Office and falsifying attendance records while holding the SC/ST Special Secretary post. He also claimed Prasanth refused to attend important meetings.

In response, Prasanth denied the charges, suggesting that media reports against him were being fueled by Jayathilak, whom he referred to as the Special Reporter on social media. Prasanth also hinted at revealing information about Jayathilak, urging the public to respond cautiously, especially since Jayathilak has expressed aspirations of becoming the state’s next Chief Secretary.

Prasanth’s posts on social media gained significant attention due to his large following. Prior to this, he served as the district collector of Kozhikode.
