BTS: Behind the Scenes, an anthology of five stories about the unsung heroes of filmmaking, will be released on November 8. This film offers a deep dive into the world of cinema, shedding light on the people who make movies possible but often remain in the shadows. Each of the five stories, running about 28 minutes, captures a different aspect of the filmmaking process, from the pursuit of stardom to the hard work behind the camera. With raw authenticity, the film paints a heartfelt portrait of cinema’s unsung workers and dreamers.
Directed and produced by Prajwal Raj, Sai Shrinidhi, Kuldeep Cariappa, Rajesh N Shankadh, and Apoorva Bharadwaj, BTS showcases their unique storytelling voices and personal experiences. Prajwal, with his experience as an associate director, ensures a strong technical foundation, while Sai brings emotional depth to the narratives. Kuldeep’s documentary expertise adds a layer of realism, and Rajesh offers a modern twist on classic storytelling. Apoorva brings characters to life with her acting and communication background.
The anthology features five distinct tales: Baanigondu Elle Ellide, Coffee, Cigarettes and Lines, Hero, Blockbuster, and Sumoha. The stories range from gritty struggles in the film industry to personal sacrifices, all capturing the spirit of cinema. The film stars Jahangeer Ninasam, Aahan, Medini Kelamane, and others. Produced by Satoir and distributed by Janani Pictures, BTS is a love letter to all who live and breathe cinema.
