Ahead of its much-anticipated release on November 15, the trailer for Bhairathi Ranagal, the prequel to the hit film Mufti, has been unveiled. Starring Shivarajkumar in the lead role, the trailer gives fans a glimpse of his powerful portrayal of Bhairathi Ranagal—a character with both the sharp mind of a lawyer and the gritty toughness of a gangster. The 2-minute 31-second trailer, released by Anand Audio, builds excitement as it introduces Bhairathi as a key figure in the town of Ronapura, a place where even basic necessities like clean water are a struggle. A notable line in the trailer, Just making a request by writing on a white paper is enough to get water, underscores the town’s harsh realities.
As the trailer intensifies, Bhairathi’s determination is clear when he says, I don’t mind losing anybody for the sake of the people, but I can’t lose the people. The trailer also teases the presence of a powerful antagonist, played by Rahul Bose, who warns, We don’t want to see his end, but give an end to his social deeds.
Directed by Narthan, Bhairathi Ranagal promises a gripping blend of action and drama, with Shivarajkumar’s commanding performance at its core. The film also features Rukmini Vasanth, Devaraj, and others, with music by Ravi Basrur. Produced by Geetha Shivarajkumar, the film sets the stage for a sequel.
