The action-thriller Rudra Garuda Purana, starring Kavaludaari actor Rishi, is set to release on December 27. The release date was announced at a recent event where the song Kann Munde Bandu was launched by actors KS Sridhar, Avinash, Rishi, lead actress Priyanka Kumar, and director Nandish, alongside the entire cast. The film opens with a tribute to the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar, with Rishi emphasizing the critical role of producer Lohith and director Nandish in bringing this project to life.
Rishi shared his excitement for the film but kept plot details limited, only hinting that the thriller is packed with suspense. He expressed confidence that the song Kann Munde Bandu will resonate with audiences, adding that the film is sure to keep them engaged. Noted composer Devi Sri Prasad collaborated with Krishna Prasad (KP) on the soundtrack, and DSP shared his excitement through a video message, heightening anticipation for the music.
Director Nandish has based part of the film on the mystery of Pan Am Flight 914, which disappeared in 1955 and resurfaced years later, using this inspiration for the 17A Kaveri Express bus that plays a crucial role in the story. Produced by Ashwini Lohith under Ashwini Arts, the film marks the production house’s debut, with Sandeep Kumar handling cinematography and featuring a supporting cast including Vinod Alva, Giri, and comedy actors Jagappa and Prasanna Handrang.
