Kishore, a versatile actor known for his work across various film industries, stars in Anamadheya Ashok Kumar, joining Harshil Koushik in this gripping thriller directed by debutant Sagar Kumar. The film, which recently finished shooting, is now in post-production and set for release later this year. Fans were treated to a sneak peek with the release of its motion poster and exclusive stills.
The plot centers on the murder of a prominent lawyer and the survival struggle of a retired police officer. At the heart of the story is a determined journalist tangled in a web of suspicion, while Harshil Koushik’s character, an intelligent cop, races against time to uncover the truth. Known for his boy-next-door roles, Harshil describes this as a bold shift that lets him explore his range. Playing a cop brings a new edge to my screen persona, and I hope audiences are as excited as I am, he shared.
Kishore, who has taken on a rugged, distinctive look for his role, continues to showcase his ability to embody diverse characters. Meanwhile, he is also gearing up for a major Bollywood debut in Sikandar, alongside Salman Khan.
Produced by SKN Films and distributed by Janani Pictures, the film features a screenplay by Sagar Kumar and Benny Thomas, with cinematography by Sunil Honalli and music by Azad. Anamadheya Ashok Kumar, originally in Kannada, is expected to be dubbed in Tamil as well.
