Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath participated in the prize distribution ceremony of the 25th Sub Junior National Rowing Championship in Gorakhpur on Saturday. Extending his congratulations to the winners, CM Yogi highlighted the transformative changes in sports under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
He praised initiatives like Khelo India, Sansad Khelkood Pratiyogita, and the Fit India Movement, which have significantly boosted sports participation and development across the country. “When we think positively, our energy moves in a positive direction,” CM Yogi remarked, emphasizing the growth of sports in India over the past decade.
Earlier, CM Yogi also conducted a ‘Janta Darshan’ at the Gorakhnath Temple, where he met with locals, especially women, to address their grievances. He assured the people that their issues would be promptly resolved by forwarding their concerns to the relevant authorities.
