Shruti Haasan has officially stepped away from two projects: ‘Dacoit: A Love Story’ and ‘Chennai Story’. She exited Dacoit due to creative differences with lead actor Adivi Sesh, who wanted to change the original script. Despite previously sharing photos from the film’s set, Shruti decided it was best not to pursue the role any further, choosing not to elaborate on the details of her departure. In addition to Dacoit, she has also confirmed her exit from Chennai Story, where she was set to play a detective. This film was initially intended for Samantha, but after she left, Shruti took on the role before ultimately deciding to withdraw.
Currently, Shruti is focused on her upcoming film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This highly anticipated project features notable actors like Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, and Upendra Rao and is scheduled for release in 2025.
