Indian pacer Mohammed Shami on Monday, addressed concerns about his fitness, stating that he is now completely pain-free and remains in contention for the upcoming Test series against Australia, starting on Nov 22 in Perth.
Shami, who has been under scrutiny due to past injuries, bowled at full intensity during a practice session following India’s opening Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru. This comes after team captain Rohit Sharma mentioned Shami had experienced knee swelling, which impacted his recovery from an ankle injury sustained last year.
