MLA GT Deve Gowda emphasized the importance of the health of civic workers, who contribute to public well-being by maintaining a clean city. He spoke during the inauguration of a free eye and health check-up camp for civic workers, organized in collaboration with Samriddhi Trust, Annapurna Eye Hospital, NP Hospital, and Bio Friendly.
Deve Gowda noted that the city’s cleanliness directly impacts the health of its residents. He highlighted the need for regular health check-ups to ensure civic workers remain healthy, as negligence under work pressure can affect their well-being. He encouraged civic workers to prioritize their health beyond the check-up camps, stating that healthy workers contribute to a healthier city.
He urged civic workers to take advantage of such health initiatives, as their well-being is crucial for maintaining cleanliness and public health. Municipal Commissioner BN Chandrasekhar and several other officials and community leaders were present at the event.
