All Draft eKhatas, totaling about 22 lakh, have been released online by BBMP. Residents can access these documents at a designated website. To find the relevant ward, individuals can refer to their property tax receipts. Once the ward is opened, all Draft eKhatas for that area will be listed.
For the first time, an eProperty ID has been created, which means properties can only be searched by owner name. A “name search” option is provided, and properties are organized alphabetically within each ward.
BBMP aims to enhance the user experience by making eKhata accessible online, allowing residents to obtain their documents without visiting BBMP offices. Help Desks have been established in each ARO office to assist residents. Additionally, eKhatas will soon be available at designated service centers across Bangalore.
This initiative is part of BBMP’s ongoing efforts to streamline property documentation for residents and ensure easier access to important records.
