Rising Indian archer Vaishnavi Pawar delivered an outstanding performance as the Indian team secured a silver medal in the recurve U-18 women’s team event at the 2024 Asian Youth Archery Championship in Taipei City. Vaishnavi consistently led off for her team, which included Pranjal Tholiya and Jannat, showing remarkable composure under pressure. The team achieved a significant victory over South Korea in the semi-finals, winning in a nail-biting shoot-off.

Facing the hosts in the final, the Indian team fought hard, overcoming a 2-4 deficit to force another shoot-off for gold but ultimately finished second.
