Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has revealed that his upcoming film, ‘The Delhi Files – The Bengal Chapter’, will hit theatres on August 15, 2025. Announcing the release date on social media, Agnihotri also shared an intriguing poster of the film.
In his post, he wrote, ‘Save the date: August 15, 2025. After extensive research, the story of ‘The Delhi Files’ is too impactful for just one part. We’re excited to bring you ‘The Bengal Chapter’, the first of two parts, shedding light on a crucial moment in history. Right to Life.’
Agnihotri, who debuted as a director with ‘Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets’ in 2005, rose to prominence with ‘The Kashmir Files’ in 2022, which won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Awards. His 2019 film ‘The Tashkent Files’ also earned him the National Award for Best Screenplay – Dialogues.
