The trailer for the film ‘Jigra’, directed by Vasan Bala, was released on Thursday, exciting fans. Starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, the film centers on a prison break and the lengths a sister will go to save her brother.
Alia Bhatt announced the trailer launch on Instagram, stating, ‘All set? Jigra theatrical trailer out now! See you in cinemas on October 11.’ In the trailer, she portrays Satya, a devoted sister determined to rescue her brother, Ankur, played by Vedang Raina. Her character displays resilience, highlighted by the line, ‘Maine kabhi nhi kaha, main sahi insaan hu. Main sirf, Ankur ki behen hu.’
This film marks Vedang Raina’s second on-screen appearance after his debut in ‘The Archies’ last year. The teaser has received positive feedback, increasing anticipation for the film’s release.
‘Jigra’ features a notable soundtrack, including the track ‘Chal Kudiye,’ which reunites Alia Bhatt with Diljit Dosanjh. A recreated version of the classic song ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka’ showcases Vedang Raina’s vocal talent.
