BJP State President denies discussions on Eshwarappa’s return

No discussions are taking place at the national level regarding Eshwarappa’s return to the BJP, according to BJP State President BY Vijayendra. During a media briefing at the State BJP office, Vijayendra stated that he is unaware of who attended the meeting at Eshwarappa’s residence. He mentioned that if national leaders inquire, information will be provided.
Vijayendra pointed out that Eshwarappa’s actions were contrary to party interests, leading to his removal. Eshwarappa had previously claimed he did not agree with Vijayendra’s leadership and did not support the party’s efforts. He had also commented sarcastically about his performance in Shivamogga.
Vijayendra emphasized that unity exists within the BJP, citing the successful padayatra as evidence. He referred to a recent High Court decision regarding the MUDA case, which supported the Governor’s authority in the matter. He also addressed Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s refusal to resign, labeling his claims as politically motivated. Vijayendra stated that Siddaramaiah should consider resigning due to the accusations against his family.
