Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan not to release in 2022

Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Ayalaan’, a science-fiction which is directed by Ravikumar is one the most awaited films of the star actor. While the shooting of the film was wrapped up earlier in January last year and the post-production works for the film has been going on,the film was expected to hit the screens this year. But the latest is that the film’s release might be delayed further and might not hit the screen in 2022 at all.
While it is known that the film which is touted to be a sci-fi flick revolving around an alien that lands on Earth was getting delayed due to the extensive amount of VFX involved, there are reports that the film has also been facing financial troubles, which seem to add to the delay.
Produced by 24 AM Studios, the film has AR Rahman scoring the music with cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Ruben, who has also said that the film will be a milestone in Sivakarthikeyan’s career. While RakulPreet Singh is playing the female lead in the film, actress IshaKoppikar and SharadKelkar are also part of the cast. The film also has Karunakaran and Yogi Babu providing the comic relief.
