Japan has accused North Korea of launching multiple ballistic missiles on Wednesday, which are believed to have fallen near the east coast of North Korea. It was confirmed that the missiles did not enter Japan’s territory or Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The missiles were launched around 6:53 am and 7:23 am from inland North Korea.

Japan, the United States, and South Korea are closely working together to analyze the details of the incident. No damage to aircraft or ships in the area has been reported.

Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was immediately informed of the missile launches. He instructed that all efforts be made to gather and analyze information, provide the public with accurate updates, and ensure the safety of aircraft and ships. He also ordered preparations for any unforeseen circumstances.

An emergency response team was set up in the Prime Minister’s Office Crisis Management Centre to discuss further actions. The Japanese government expressed concern over North Korea’s repeated missile launches, stating that such actions threaten peace and security.

It was emphasized that these missile launches violate United Nations Security Council resolutions. Japan has strongly protested and condemned North Korea’s actions. The government stated that it will continue to work with the United States, South Korea, and other countries to ensure safety and maintain vigilance. Additional information will be shared with the public as needed.
