Filmmaker and actor Anurag Kashyap, alongside Rima Kallingal, will star in the upcoming Malayalam film ‘Delulu’. Announced during the Onam festival, the film also features Remya Nambeesan, Nikhila Vimal, Chandu Salimkumar, and Daveed Prakkat in key roles. This project marks the directorial debut of Shabna Mohammed, known for co-writing the Manju Warrier film ‘Footage’ and scripting the National Award-winning ‘Vaanku’ (2021), starring Anaswara Rajan.
The crew for ‘Delulu’ includes many who worked on ‘Footage’, such as cinematographer Shinoz, editor-director Saiju Sreedharan, and art director Appunni Sajan. The film is set to start filming soon and is produced by Pamparam Productions.
In parallel, Anurag Kashyap is making his Malayalam debut with ‘Rifle Club’, currently in post-production. Directed by Aashiq Abu, this film features an ensemble cast and is written by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, Suhas, and Sharfu.
