On Wednesday, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met with Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss key issues in animal husbandry and dairy development for the state.
CM Yadav announced that Madhya Pradesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) to boost milk production. He assured that the Government of India will offer ongoing support for this initiative. Under PM Modi’s leadership, our state is advancing in collaboration with the central government. I highlighted the significant potential for cooperation in Madhya Pradesh, especially in dairy and animal husbandry, CM Yadav told reporters.
The MoU, signed on September 10, aims to enhance milk production and ensure fair prices for farmers in 11,000 villages, marking a step towards their economic betterment. CM Yadav also discussed ongoing efforts like the Regional Industry Conclaves designed to foster economic growth, employment, and industry in the state.
He expressed gratitude for the approval to purchase soybean crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 4892 per quintal and thanked Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for his support. CM Yadav emphasized the state’s commitment to farmer welfare and ongoing development efforts.
