Kalaburagi
Though rainfall has receded in Kalyana Karnataka districts, flood situation prevailed at Kagina, Krishna, Bhima rivers, and Bennetora reservoir. With yellow alert issued by the meteorology department in Kalaburagi and Bidar districts, Kalaburagi district has received 13.6 mm of rain in the last 24 hours against the normal rainfall of 6.9 mm.
It has received weekly rainfall of 54.8 mm against its normal weekly rainfall of 32.3 mm. The meteorology department has predicted that rainfall will recede in the district from Wednesday. Three bridges were submerged in district.
A 60-year-old road bridge between Kamalapur-Jivanagi and another cement-concrete road bridge at Dandoti were washed away after incessant rain. Following incessant rains in Maharashtra, the flood situation continues at Krishna and Bhima river basins in Yadgir district.
