Elderly woman mauled by stray dogs

A 76-year-old retired teacher tragically lost her life during a morning walk after being viciously attacked by a group of stray dogs near the Air Force playground in Jalahalli, within the Gangamma Gudi police station area on Wednesday morning.

The victim, identified as Rajdulari Sinha, was the mother-in-law of an airman and a former teacher.

According to the police, the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. when Sinha was walking on the playground near Air Force East, 7th Residential Camp. She was set upon by a pack of 10-12 stray dogs, suffering multiple severe injuries as a result. Nearby witnesses managed to scare off the dogs and quickly transported her to a nearby hospital, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The police have filed a report of unnatural death.
