In a hit-and-run incident early Monday morning in Delhi’s Shastri Park, a speeding truck struck five people sleeping on a road divider. Three of the victims, who were homeless, were killed on the spot, while the other two were critically injured. They were initially taken to Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, where the three deceased were declared dead. The injured were then transferred to GTB Hospital. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck veered off course and hit the divider, with the driver fleeing the scene. The police have launched a manhunt for the driver and are working to identify the victims and their ages.
