In the village of Avaradi Daddi, part of Ambolli in Allavara taluk, a serious issue has arisen as a private landowner has blocked the road through his field, causing significant hardship for the residents. Devadasa Gaonkara, who has lived in the area for about seventy years, is now obstructing the road that has been used for access. The land was purchased by new owners about eight years ago, but Devadasa Gaonkara has since refused to allow passage.

The blockade has caused severe disruptions, with children unable to attend school, elderly residents struggling to receive medical care, and the community facing various difficulties. The entire village has been fenced off, and the villagers have pleaded with Devadasa Gaonkara to reopen the path, but their requests have been ignored.

In response to the blockade, the villagers have submitted a complaint to the relevant authorities. However, Devadasa Gaonkara has reportedly filed a counter-complaint against the villagers at the Allavara police station. He has claimed support from local political figures, including MLA Santhosh Lad, and has continued his actions without regard for the villagers’ plight.

The villagers of Ambolli are demanding that the authorities address the issue urgently and restore access to their road. They emphasize that a resolution is necessary for their well-being and that basic human compassion should guide the actions of all involved.
