Cracks have appeared in various temples including the Durga Devi temple in the historic Chalukya land of Aihole in district, and actor Aniruddha has appealed to repair the cracks.
He has appealed to the government and the archeology department. He has made an appeal through social media and during his recent visit to Aihole, he visited the Durga Devi temple. Actor Aniruddha, who is fond of Chalukya sculpture, expressed his dismay at the cracks in the walls of the ancient Durgadevi temple.
There is a need to show such wonderful sculptures and temples to the next generation. Therefore, the government and the archeology department have appealed to mend the rift.
