ICG ships Sachet, Sujeet, and Samrat are engaged in firefighting, while a Coast Guard Dornier aircraft and an ALH Dhruv helicopter have assessed the situation from the air. The Coast Guard is deploying additional firefighting equipment and the pollution control vessel Samudra Prahari. Crew evacuation is not needed at this time. The ICG is dedicated to ensuring crew safety and minimizing environmental impact.
