MP CM announces textile center for Jabalpur

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Saturday that a modern textile center will soon be established in Jabalpur. This new facility aims to create job opportunities for women, positioning Jabalpur as a significant textile hub in the state. The announcement was made during the inaugural session of the Regional Industrial Conclave in Jabalpur, which saw participation from various business houses and industrialists across the country.

The CM highlighted recent developments in Madhya Pradesh, mentioning the construction of several medical and educational colleges over the past few years. He noted the state’s thriving pharmaceutical sector, with over 275 units exporting products to more than 160 countries.

Additionally, CM Yadav spoke about the industrial growth in the Mahakoshal region, particularly in Jabalpur. He stated that there are 16 industrial parks and 517 MSME units in the area, providing employment to approximately 20,000 people. This new textile center is expected to further boost the local economy and enhance employment opportunities for the community, particularly for women.
