Jayam Ravi, a popular South Indian star, is set to shine in his upcoming film Brother. Known for his role in Ponniyin Selvan, Ravi has teamed up with director M Rajesh for this highly anticipated movie, which is gearing up for a grand theatrical release. To build excitement, the team has released the first single from the film, titled Makkamishi.
The vibrant track, available on music platforms, features an energetic composition by Harris Jayaraj. Sung by Paldabba, Makkamishi includes a lyrical video showcasing Jayam Ravi’s impressive dance moves. The actor appears stylish and fresh, and the song has set an upbeat tone, heightening anticipation for the film.
Brother is expected to be a family entertainer blending romance, comedy, and sentiment, with a focus on the sibling bond. Priyanka Mohan stars as the female lead, making her first appearance with Jayam Ravi, while Bhumika Chawla plays a key role as his sister. The film also includes VTV Ganesh, Natty, Saranya Ponvannan, and Rao Ramesh in significant roles. It is scheduled for release in August.
Besides Brother, Jayam Ravi will also appear in Genie, a fantasy thriller expected to follow soon after.
