Shruti Haasan, known for her versatility in South Indian cinema, is set to showcase her singing prowess in the upcoming film ‘Train’, starring Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Mysskin. According to reports, Shruti will lend her voice to one of the four songs featured in the movie, marking a departure from her usual acting roles.
This collaboration with Vijay Sethupathi in ‘Train’ comes after their previous outing together in ‘Laabam’, directed by SP Jananathan, where Shruti played the female lead opposite him.
Director Mysskin, who is known for his unique style, is also composing the music for ‘Train’, heightening anticipation for the film’s soundtrack.
‘Train’ is set to unfold over the course of a single day and boasts an ensemble cast including Ira Dayanand, Nassar, Vinay Raai, Bhavana, Sampath Raj, Prithviraj, and KS Ravikumar alongside Vijay Sethupathi. The film’s shooting is progressing smoothly, with the first look poster already unveiled. ‘Train’ marks Mysskin’s next directorial venture, although the release date for his horror thriller ‘Pisasu 2’ remains uncertain.
In addition to her musical contribution in ‘Train’, Shruti Haasan has also been cast in a significant role in the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer ‘Coolie’. She confirmed her involvement in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s directorial by sharing a picture from the film’s set.
