The filming of ‘Sardar 2,’ directed by PS Mithran and featuring actor Karthi, began a few days ago. A stuntman named Ezhumalai lost his life during a shoot when he fell from a height of 20 feet, sustaining severe injuries to his chest and lungs.
The incident occurred at Prasad Studio in Saligramam, Chennai, where the team was working on the film. Ezhumalai was practicing a fight scene without any safety equipment when the accident happened. He fell from the elevated position and suffered a fatal hemorrhage.
Medical reports indicated that he died as a result of the fall, with injuries specifically affecting his chest and leading to lung hemorrhaging. The Virugampakkam police have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate event.
