Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan has praised Akshay Kumar’s new film, ‘Sarfira,’ which is the Hindi remake of the acclaimed Tamil movie ‘Soorarai Pottru.’ The film has been receiving positive feedback, and Dulquer took to ‘X’ to share his thoughts on it.
In his tweet, Dulquer remarked, reimagining a classic into another language is always so difficult! He commended director Sudha Kongara for her ability to make the remake feel authentic and true to its roots.
He also highlighted the performances of the cast, noting Akshay Kumar’s sincerity, Radhika Madan’s charming presence, and Sima Biswas’ emotionally powerful portrayal. Dulquer wrote, Akshay Kumar sir is so sincere, radhikamadan is delightful, and Simabiswas ma’am makes your insides hurt when she’s hurting. He also praised Paresh Rawal for his strong support and expressed joy in seeing Sarath Kumar’s participation.
Dulquer extended congratulations to Suriya and Jyothika for helping bring this important story to a wider audience. He also expressed admiration for his brother, GV Prakash, calling him endlessly talented.
‘Sarfira’ features Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Radhika Madan, directed by Sudha Kongara. The film adapts Kongara’s 2020 Tamil film, which was inspired by GR Gopinath’s memoir, ‘Simply Fly: A Deccan Odyssey.’ The story follows a man’s mission to create affordable airlines for low-income individuals while overcoming numerous challenges.
