Scarlett Johansson jokingly revealed on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ that her husband, Colin Jost, is contractually obligated to appear in all her movies due to their prenuptial agreement. She humorously explained that Jost’s cameo in her upcoming film, ‘Fly Me to the Moon,’ was a direct result of this clause.
Johansson shared that Greg Berlanti, the director of ‘Fly Me to the Moon,’ is a big fan of Jost, which further solidified his involvement in the project as per their agreement. She playfully added that whenever she asks him to do something, he must support her, including participating in her films.
Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost, a prominent comedian and writer from ‘Saturday Night Live,’ tied the knot in October 2020. They welcomed their first child together, a son named Cosmo, in August 2021. While this is Jost’s first marriage, Johansson was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011 and French journalist Romain Dauriac from 2014 to 2017. Johansson and Dauriac have a 6-year-old daughter named Rose.
Reflecting on Jost’s proposal, Johansson had described it as unexpectedly romantic, akin to a ‘James Bond situation,’ during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in 2019. She praised Jost for his charm and thoughtfulness in the proposal.
