Interestingly, Karan Johar is not only producing this venture but has also directed one of its songs. As per the source, Karan Johar was present throughout the shoot of Jaanam to ensure Vicky and Triptii were comfortable during the intimate scenes. A source mentioned, Karan is deeply committed to the safety and security of his actors, and he even stepped behind the camera to co-direct the song. Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz is a hilarious ride exploring the quirky theme of heteropaternal superfecundation. Vicky Kaushal shared with Sources, for me, shooting for this film was like being at home because Anand Tiwari and Karan Johar had this feel-good vibe. The script was excellent, and the concept was new. Although I haven’t done much in the comedy genre, working with this team felt like being with family, which made it easy to dive into the role. Bad Newz is set to hit the screens on July 19.
