Four-Year-Old Girl Was Allegedly Sexually Assaulted By A School Teacher

Based on a complaint lodged by the girl’s parents, a POCSO case has been registered against a teacher of a nursery school at Anwar Layout in Venkateshwarapura in K.G. Halli. The girl was admitted to a private nursery school in Anwar Layout in Venkateswarapura. The girl, who started going to school on June 6, told her parents that she would not go to school after 10 days. When the parents enquire what happened, a teacher in the school points a finger at her private parts. The girl told her parents that she was very hurt by this. When the parents examined the daughter, they found that her private parts were red and blood was oozing. When the teacher’s name was enquired, the girl, who did not know her name, told her parents that she was ‘ma’am’. The girl’s parents, took her to the hospital, have lodged a complaint with the K.G. Halli police. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered against the teacher under the POCSO Act and an investigation is underway, police said.
