More than 6,000 additional participants are expected to join on June 21st, International Yoga Day.

This trip marks PM Modi’s first visit to Jammu & Kashmir since his re-election for a third term. The SPG will assume control of the event venue two days in advance, ensuring thorough preparation and security checks.

Security measures include electronic surveillance, drone monitoring, human surveillance, and continuous monitoring of the Prime Minister’s route. All security protocols outlined in the operational manual are strictly followed. J&K Director General of Police, R.R. Swain, directly oversees and coordinates the Prime Minister’s security detail.
