The AIDSO, a students’ organisation submitted an appeal to the Karnataka State Education Police (SEP) Commission, urging the development of a pro-student education curriculum. The SEP commission, Karnataka State Board of Higher Education and Mangalore University organised a departmental-level workshop on Curriculum Design and Structure at the Mangalore University auditorium.
A delegation led by Vinay Chandra, a state secretariat member of the AIDSO, participated in this meeting and shared their perspectives.
He argued that the curriculum should be designed to engage students in deep learning and to uphold the ideals of great people. Any confusion arising during the academic year should be rectified immediately. The AIDSO delegation submitted a memorandum to the SEP commission members S Bhushan, A Narayan, Rajendra Chenni and Bhagyawan. We have requested the SEP commission members that the KSEP Commission should develop a student-friendly curriculum, he said.
