The All India Democratic Students’ Organization (AIDSO) has strongly condemned the surge in fees across private schools, with increases ranging between 30% to 40%. Additionally, the organization decries the simultaneous escalation in costs for essential items such as shoes and socks.
Expressing grave concern over the plight of middle-class families grappling with the financial burden imposed by these hikes, AIDSO has called attention to the State Government’s apparent ineffectiveness in curbing such practices. Despite issuing directives to curtail the additional fee increments, the government’s efforts have proven futile, leaving families struggling to cope with the escalating costs of education.
In response to this dire situation, AIDSO urges the government to take decisive legal action against what it perceives as unjust and anti-student fee hikes. With families increasingly finding themselves in a precarious financial position, the organization underscores the urgent need for concrete measures to alleviate the burden on students and parents alike.
