Coconut Tree Caught Fire Due To Short Circuit

A fire broke out in a coconut tree due to a short circuit in Nalaband Gully of the city. Locals said that the incident occurred due to a coconut feather that fell on the electric pole. Due to the rain, there was a short circuit in the place where the feather fell, and as we watched, the entire coconut tree caught fire. The incidence took place under Golgumbaz Police station. It has been raining in the state for the last 12 days and it will continue for another 3 days. According to the Met Department, there has been a drop in air pressure over the Arabian Sea and there are forecasts of an increase in annual rainfall from Friday to Sunday. Rainfall is likely to increase in coastal and southern interior districts of the state from Friday. Pre-monsoon rain is happening in many districts of the state. The weather is partly cloudy and there will be rain in many places during the evening and night.
