It is well known that former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth is making a cameo appearance in Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha starrer ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ directed by Vignesh Shivan. While it was earlier revealed that Sreesanth will seen in a character named Mohammed Mobi in the film, the latest is that he will be playing Samantha’s boyfriend in the film.
The makers of the much-anticipated flick ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal’ dropped a new track ‘Dippam Dappam’ featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Sethupathi. It is in this song that is has been revealed that Sreesanth will be playing Samantha’s boyfriend in the film, whom she apparently ditches to fall in love with Vijay Sethupathi.
The song, titled ‘Dippam Dappam,’ sees Khatija (Samantha) and Rambo’s (Vijay) love story. The song has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander and its lyrics have been penned by Vignesh Shivan.
The film is bankrolled by Seven Screen Studio in association with Vignesh Shivan’s Rowdy Pictures. Though Vijay Sethupathi has already worked with both Samantha and Nayanthara, this will be the first time the two actresses will be sharing screen space in a film. The film will release on April 28.
