Tributes Paid To Basava And Hemaraddy Mallamma On Birth Anniversary

In commemoration of Karnataka cultural leader Vishwaguru Basava Jayanti and Shivsharane Hemaraddy Mallamma Jayanti, floral tributes were offered to their portraits by the district administration.
The Jayanti was observed in collaboration with the district administration and the Department of Kannada and Culture, with floral arrangements laid at the effigy of Basaveshwar near Gun House Circle.
Deputy Commissioner KV Rajendra, City Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer KM Gayatri, along with Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture Department Dr Sudarshan and other dignitaries, honored Basavanna and Hemaraddy Mallamma’s portraits with floral tributes.
