A coordination meeting of the BJP-JD(S) coalition was convened to strategize for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the Dakshina Kannada constituency.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel highlighted the alliance’s shared goal of reinstating Narendra Modi as Prime Minister. Addressing the ideological contrasts, BJP District President Sathish Kumpala highlighted the common objective of district development and combating corruption, underscoring the potential synergy between the two parties.
JD(S) District President Madhava Gowda echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the coalition’s mission to oust the corrupt Congress and actualize the vision of a developed Bharat.
JD(S) leader MB Sadashiva reiterated the coalition’s commitment to inclusivity, as advocated by party supremo HD Deve Gowda, aiming to bolster Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Meanwhile, BJP Mahila Morcha units in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts accused the Congress of being anti-women, with Mahila Morcha president Manjula Rao condemning the purported culture of demeaning women within the Congress party.
