Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has called upon BJP workers to seek votes for Bharat, instead of BJP.
Addressing booth-level workers of BJP, Fadnavis said the 2024 Lok Sabha election is crucial for the country’s safety. This election, we are not voting for BJP, but for Bharat. We are voting for Bharat’s safety and future, he said. Referring to the Rameshwaram Cafe blast in Bengaluru, Fadnavis accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of protecting anti-social elements in Karnataka. Congress government in Karnataka is soft on terrorism. Siddaramaiah is giving strength to anti-Indian forces and terrorists. He released PFI workers from jail for the sake of votes, he said, alleging Congress is not concerned about India’s safety. Terming the 10-year administration under Prime Minister Narendra Modi as just a trailer, Fadnavis said, picture abhi baaki hain. The 2024 Lok Sabha election will be historical. The Modi-led government has set right several inequalities in the country in the past 10 years, he said, adding that 25 crore people were freed from the clutches of poverty during his tenure.
Lauding India’s achievements in the space sector, Fadnavis said China will not dare to challenge the country now. He called upon the party workers to create awareness on Modi’s schemes among people. Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said BJP will win the constituency again with a margin of more than three lakh votes.
Opposition leader in legislative council, Kota Shrinivas Poojari, alleged that terrorists and anti-social elements have had a free run under the Congress government in the state.
