Home Invasion And Robbery Case, Five Accused Arrested

The Police have succeeded in arresting five accused in connection with the case of raiding a farm house near Jawali in Mudigere taluk, assaulting the householders and looting money and jewellery.

On February 15, a robbery took place at the house of Anantaram Hebbar of Hobali J Hosalli village, Balur, Mudigere taluk. The robbers who broke into the house sprinkled salty powder on the people in the house and took Rs. 1,25,000 cash and valuable gold ornaments worth Rs 5,25,000 from the cupboard  and fled. At this time, the robbers attacked the worker Srinivasa Murthy with a knife and broke the TV.

A case under IPC section 395, 397, 427, 450 was registered in Balur Police station. In connection with the case, Ansar alias ​​Ansar from Bantwala district, Qalandar alias ​​Mohammed Gaus from Belthangadi, Shining Kumar alias ​​Shinei from Bettadamane village in Mudigere Taluk, Ashraf alias ​​Hasarab from Anjoor village, Umesh from Jannapur village have been arrested.Among them, Ansar was a guest of the police while escaping in the dark and was caught by the locals while the others had robbed and gone in different directions. The police conducted an operation and arrested the accused one by one. There is information about the involvement of four more accused in the case and the police have laid a trap to trace them.  The operation was conducted under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police Vikram Amte. The Police have been successful in arresting the accused by collecting information about the accused from various dimensions. The public has praised the work of Police.
