Conduct Adequate Survey Of Guarantee Schemes Beneficiaries: KV Rajendra

The government has decided to conduct a survey to find out whether the five guarantee schemes implemented by the government in the year 2023-24 have properly reached the people and whether the guarantee schemes have been properly utilized. Volunteers have been appointed to survey the guarantee schemes. Deputy Commissioner KV Rajendra said.

He spoke at a meeting held at the Zilla Panchayat office regarding house to house survey to know the utilisation of guarantee schemes.

The government has formulated 5 guarantee schemes for the welfare of the poor and weaker sections. He informed that it has been decided to appoint Guarantee Swayam-Sevak to conduct a district wide survey whether these 5 guarantee schemes have reached every house in the state.

Anganwadi workers, Asha workers and staff from other departments should be appointed as Guarantee Swayam-Sevak and they should visit every house and conduct a survey about the availability of guarantee schemes and the people’s opinion about the said schemes and their utilisation and submit a report to the government. The Deputy Commissioner said that incentive money will be given to Anganwadi workers, Asha workers and staff of other departments for such work.

Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer KM Gayathri, Metropolitan Corporation Commissioner Asad Ur Rehman Sharif and district level officials were present in the meeting.
