Infosys MoU With Health Department For Implementation Of Scheme For Maternal And Newborn Health

The Health Department and Infosys, a reputed information technology company of the state, have entered into an agreement for the implementation of the Maternal and Newborn Health Care Scheme. The agreement was signed in the presence of Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao at Vikas Soudha. After talking to the media, Minister Dinesh Gundurao said that we have signed an agreement with the C-camp and the health department. He said that we have implemented a scheme using new technology to take care of the health of the mother and the newborn baby.

The technology tells about the heartbeat of the baby in the womb. Practically we have implemented the project in two districts. He said that the scheme will be implemented in 8 more districts in the coming days.

Recently, State Board of Higher Education has entered into an agreement with Infosys. According to the agreement, Infosys has taught a total of 13 thousand courses free of charge in this special program.

VTU and other universities have tied up with INPOSIS for learning the courses. Infosys had tied up with the State Council of Higher Education to deliver its spring board courses to students. Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan, Infosys top executive Tirumala Arohi and university chancellors were present.
