Must read

A case has come to light where a doctor who believed the words of a woman who came for cosmetic surgery lost crores of money. A woman named Aishwarya Gowda, who believed that she would give a luxury car to a doctor named Girish, paid Rs 6.02 crore. A case has been registered in the Vijayanagar police station after receiving allegations of fraud.

The doctor met the woman during a cosmetic surgery consultation in March 2022. The woman said that she was running real estate finance alongside running a second-hand car business. Girish, who was thinking of buying a luxury car, approached the woman. At this time, the woman acquired Rs. 2.75cr online, and Rs. 3.25 cr in cash. But when there was no hint of any car or return of money, the doctor got suspicious.

When the doctor asked to return the money last December, the accused called him to meet at the Vijayanagara club. Accordingly, Girish and his wife went near the club, where the accused verbally abused and threatened to file a rape complaint against him if she was asked for returning the money. She also threatened that if the matter was to be dropped without any complaint to be lodged against Girish, she demanded Rs. 5 lakh once again. The accused then was given 2 lakh during this meet. Currently, an FIR has been registered against the accused in the Vijayanagar police station and the police have started an investigation.
