Expressing gratitude for the support he has received throughout his cinematic career, Vishal emphasised that he has never assisted people with the expectation of political gains. Quoting Tirukkural, he shared the sentiment that forgetting good deeds is not commendable. In a tweet, Vishal stated that he will continue engaging in welfare activities through his Makkal Nala Iyakkam. He affirmed his readiness to advocate for the people in the future, emphasising his commitment to both social work and potential political involvement.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Vishal has wrapped up filming for his upcoming action entertainer, Rathnam, directed by Hari.
