I too am not an aspirant for Lok Sabha election ticket, said Minister Venkatesh. Speaking to the media on Tuesday,  he said, I don’t know whose name is there among the current Ministers who are MP candidates. But, I am not an aspirant either, I am old and state politics is enough. This is my last election and I will not contest again, he clarified.

Yatindra Siddaramaiah will not contest from Mysore constituency. Talking to BJP is addictive. Saying something to his addiction. Lok Sabha ticket is not final yet. The name of the aspirant is under discussion, he said.

Responding to  MP Anantakumar Hegde’s statement against Chief Minister  Siddaramaiah, Venkatesh said that Hegde has no rites. What do we say to an uncultured person.  The uneducated speak the same. Those who are cultured don’t talk like him, he exclaimed in a monotonous manner.

There is government, there is law. The government will be responsible for maintaining peace and order. The government will not let the mosque be demolished easily. Appropriate action will be taken against Hegde. Talking about the cabinet reshuffle after the MP election, he said that the officials and ministers will take action against him.

District in-charge minister K. Venkatesh and  MLA C Puttarangashetty dedicated a bagina to Anemadu lake on Tuesday. Farmers had been protesting for months about filling the lake with water. Minister K Venkatesh visited the protest site and held discussions with farmers.  He assured that the Deputy Commissioner will also visit the site,  conduct an inspection and justice will be given to the cultivators.
