India secured a resounding 3-1 victory against New Zealand in their second match, with Beauty Dungdung contributing to the scoresheet alongside Udita and Sangita Kumari. After a narrow 0-1 defeat to the United States in their initial encounter, the significant win over the Black Sticks has provided India a confidence boost as they gear up for their final Pool game against Italy on January 16. The 21-year-old had faced a major injury in February the previous year, undergoing surgery in March.
