In a shocking discovery, the decomposed body of Gurusiddappa, a resident of Bengaluru’s Jnana Bharathi area, was found at the foothills of Kootagal Betta in Ramanagara taluk. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition, possibly due to being exposed to the elements and wildlife. Gurusiddappa had been reported missing, leading to a complaint filed at the Janana Bharathi police station in Bengaluru a few days ago. Subsequent investigations revealed that he had been a victim of murder in Bengaluru, but his body had not been located until now. Authorities believe that Gurusiddappa was murdered by unidentified assailants in Bengaluru, and his body was subsequently dumped near Kootagal hill in Ramanagara. The decomposition and signs of wild animal scavenging, possibly by a leopard, made the discovery more gruesome. The Ramanagara Rural and Jnana Bharathi police conducted a search in the reported disposal area, leading to the grim discovery of Gurusiddappa’s remains. The decomposed body has been sent to a private hospital in Bengaluru for a post-mortem examination. A case has been registered at Ramanagara Rural Police Station as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the murder and the disposal of the body.
